Extended Port Parking Service at the airport

Shuttle Service to cruise terminal Ostseekai

(Kiel, 2nd July 2017) The service for Kiel’s cruise passengers has been extended once more. Parking spaces for passenger cars can now be reserved also at the airport for the duration of a sea voyage. The airport is part of the Port Parking Service by the port of Kiel for the second year. With the beginning of the season, a number of additional parking spaces had been finished so that a total of 450 cars can now be accepted. Dr Dirk Claus, Managing Director at PORT OF KIEL: “We hereby meet the requirements often expressed by our guests to have readily accessible car parks and a direct shuttle service to the ship.” The offer is mainly directed to passengers starting their journey at Ostseekai.

Parking spaces can be booked online at And this is very easy to do: Select the ship and period. Then select the car park and enter your personal data. The reservation has been completed. The guest receives a booking confirmation including directions by email.

Kiel Airport is located directly at the federal highway B503, is signposted from all directions and quick to reach. Our on-site staff is available for any query and directs the arriving cars. The airport terminal houses a restaurant, café, waiting area as well as restrooms. The shuttle buses commute at brief intervals to the cruise terminal which is only a few minutes away. Travellers can hand over their luggage directly at the shuttle bus and it will be passed on right to the cabin.Find out more at
