Paris Saint-Germain visited THW Kiel
Last year’s Handball Champions League finalist touched down at Kiel Airport
(Kiel, 19th September 2017) Handball Champions League by the Baltic Sea. On the first group matchday of the 2017/2018 season Paris Saint-Germain competed against the THW in Kiel on 17th Sepember 2017. The match started at 5.15 p.m. in Kiel’s Sparkassen-Arena. The star ensemble with national team captain Uwe Gensheimer landed at the Airport Kiel-Holtenau on the evening before. The last time the two teams had met was for the last matchday of the preliminary round. On 12th March 2017 Paris Saint-Germain had won in front of their home crowd. This is why the Zebras strived for reparation. However, the THW lost the game characterized by fighting spirit and passion with 22:25. The next Champions League match by the Fjord takes place on 27th September 2017. This is going to be a duel between neighbours, namely THW Kiel and Aalborg AB.
