Flight restrictions in northern Germany

Militäry exercise "Air Defender" causes flight restrictions

As part of the military exercise Air Defender 2023, areas with flight restrictions and danger zones will be temporarily established from 12th - 23rd June 2023. This will result in significant restrictions on flight operations in the northern German region. Exempt from the flight restrictions are police flights, rescue and disaster control flights, ambulance flights and flights under instrument flight rules after prior approval by the responsible air traffic control authority.
