(Kiel, 28th June 2021) The German handball champion THW Kiel landed in Kiel-Holtenau yesterday evening (27th June). After the season finale at the Rhein-Neckar Löwen, the THW arrived in Holtenau after a flight time of 1 hour and 22 minutes with a DO328 from Mannheim. Still on the apron, the team was welcomed by Minister President Daniel Günther and Lord Mayor Dr Ulf Kämpfer. Numerous fans came to the airport to celebrate their team. Captain Domagoj Duvnjak was the first to present the cup directly after landing.
