Two lanes for emergency vehicles

The infrastructure of the Airport has been further improved by paving a former gravel path with two asphalt lanes. This new road goes from the northern Airport entrance area in a 890 m wide arc around the airfield and ends on the opposite side where it meets the apron of Hangar 71.

In order to keep the land sealing low, the middle part between the lanes remains unpaved. This road connection guarantees that emergency vehicles can bypass the runway and reach the southern areas of the Airport in a safe and reliable way.
