On 22nd March 2023, three Augusta Westland EH101 helicopters of the Royal Navy visited the Airport Kiel.
With its central location and well-developed infrastructure, the Airport Kiel is regularly used by the military, e.g. by the German Armed Forces or the Royal Navy.
