Management team takes over
Change of leadership at PORT OF KIEL: The current Commercial Director of SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG and Managing Director of Kiel-Holtenau Airport is retiring. On 1st October, a dual leadership team will take over the management of the airport.
After 23 successful years at PORT OF KIEL (SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG), Volker Prange, former Commercial Director and Managing Director of Kiel-Holtenau Airport, is retiring on 30th September.
Dr Dirk Claus, Managing Director of SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG, pays tribute to Prange's work: ‘With Volker Prange, we are saying goodbye to a long-standing colleague who, with his wealth of experience and dedicated work, has contributed significantly to the further development of the port and airport in our city. We wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life.’
Prange's departure will also be accompanied by structural changes. André Bender, former management consultant at the PORT OF KIEL, will become the new Commercial Director of SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG. At the same time, he will take over the management of Kiel-Holtenau Airport together with Marcus Breuer, previously the airport's operations manager, in the form of a dual leadership. Both new managing directors have been with the group for many years and bring extensive experience to their new roles. ###
